GENERAL PROVISIONS

In order to improve service quality and ensure the security of our users’ data, we inform you about exactly what data we collect and how we use it. We respect the confidential information of every person who visits our website, therefore, based on the requirements of current Ukrainian legislation and the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council, we have prepared this Privacy and Confidentiality Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy).

This Policy describes TIN’s approach to processing the personal data of individuals who use the tin.com.ua website and/or intend to receive or are receiving TIN Services.

TIN processes Users’ personal data on the basis of the informed and freely given consent of the personal data subject to the processing of their personal data when using the TIN website and receiving TIN services by checking the relevant consent box. By checking the relevant consent box, you are deemed to have accepted the terms of this Policy and provided TIN with the legal grounds for processing personal data, and you also confirm that you have read the terms of this Policy and the rights granted to personal data subjects under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, and agree to them.

PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES OF PROCESSING

The purposes and objectives of processing personal data are: identification of Users, personalization of the tin.com.ua website for Users for the purpose of using services on the website, advertising and marketing activities, improvement of the quality of services, administration of the tin.com.ua website and the Service, negotiations regarding the possibility of providing services to Users and informing referrers about the provision of services, sending email messages, handling requests and complaints, as well as any other purpose that does not contradict the legislation of Ukraine.

USER RIGHTS, DELETION, AND MODIFICATION OF PERSONAL DATA

The User has the right to request access to personal data and its correction, deletion, erasure, modification, restriction of processing concerning the data subject, or to object to processing.

The User has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, and the right to receive data in a format that allows it to be used on other online platforms and services (the right to data portability).

The User has the right to know the source of collection, the location of their personal data, and the purpose and grounds for its processing. Users have the right to refuse email newsletters and other marketing communications from TIN.

Requests and complaints are submitted by the User by means of electronic correspondence to office@tin.com.ua.

If a notice of withdrawal of consent and destruction of personal data is received, TIN undertakes to destroy such data within 30 days from the moment the User is identified. Please note that the operation of some components of the tin.com.ua website that require your personal data may be terminated from the moment it is deleted.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

If necessary, personal data may be disclosed by TIN in order to ensure TIN’s operations and fulfill the purpose of personal data processing to the following third parties: any of our employees, officers, professional advisers, agencies and other public authorities of Ukraine and other countries; third parties that perform customer traffic analysis for TIN (for example, Google Analytics), etc.

This list is not exhaustive and may, if necessary, be expanded solely for the purpose of providing TIN Services, of which TIN informs Users.

PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD

TIN stores and processes personal data for an indefinite period, for the purpose defined in the Policy, or until a request for deletion of personal data is received.

USE OF COOKIE FILES

TIN uses cookies to remember the browser type and operating system, the page from which the transition to the current page was made, the path through the pages of this website, and the domain of the internet provider in order to understand how Users use the website. TIN also uses cookie files to remember Users’ settings and preferences. In addition, cookie files are used to improve navigation on the website and to select information that is more relevant to Users. By checking the appropriate consent box, you allow us to use cookie files each time you use the TIN website.

ENSURING DATA CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY. GUARANTEES

TIN guarantees full confidentiality, meaning it will not disclose Confidential Information to third parties in any way and will use Confidential Information only for the purpose of providing the relevant Services to the User and for the results of such Services; any information voluntarily disclosed or otherwise obtained by TIN in the course of providing Services to the User shall remain confidential until such information becomes publicly available by decision of the User.

TIN guarantees that all necessary measures have been taken to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction through the use of appropriate technical and organizational tools. The processing of Users’ personal data is carried out using an automated information system; personal data is stored electronically in the TIN CRM system, access to which is granted only to authorized persons of TIN.

Any disputes that may arise between the User and TIN regarding relations governed by this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine. The User has the right to contact TIN for an amicable settlement of a dispute by sending the relevant statement via electronic correspondence to office@tin.com.ua

The tin.com.ua website is not intended or designed for children under the age of 14. The processing of personal data of minors aged 14 to 18 is carried out solely with the consent of parents (adoptive parents) or guardians.

If you have complaints regarding any processing of your personal data, you may contact us, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, or the court.

This Policy may be updated in the future in order to comply with national and international legislation regulating personal data protection. All changes take effect from the moment they are published.
